Hibiscus seeds: planting, growing, harvesting
Seeds need to be cold stratified before use. After stratification, nick the hard coating or “scarify” before planting. Soaking the seeds in warm water for a few hours afterward will enhance germination. Sow 1/4” - 1/2” deep. Plant in an area of full sun or under grow lights. Keep soil moist but well draining. Seeds will germinate in 14 - 30 days.
